Investigation leads to arrests of Paducah couple on criminal abuse charges

A Paducah couple was arrested Thursday on criminal abuse charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they were notified a child had arrived at a local school with severe injuries, consistent with abuse.

Taken into custody was 42-year-old Carlie Elliott and 28-year -old Brittany Elliott.  Both were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
